Hell’s Kitchen is abundant with queer nightlife. The identity craved distinctiveness and we tapped into the romantic era of the 1930’s (to honor the space’s history) and evoke the seductive, mysterious feeling of French cabarets.

LOGOTYPE

The logotype pulls a deeper inspiration from
the 30’s, French, and Spanish typography—an era and regions known for romance. Letterforms are encouraged to mingle and play with one another; feeling nouveau.
APPLICATION
This playful logotype with sensual letterforms
is just begging to be seen. The repetitious logo play ensures brand recognition without feeling like it’s been done haphazardly.  The timelessness of the typography lends itself well to treating with exaggerated drop shadows for an editorial feeling—elevating the brand.
